WELCOME

Westshore Surf Life Saving is a voluntary, community service organisation, formed in 1959 to provide protection to the beach going public on Westshore Beach, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. Member Lifeguards patrol the beach each summer between Labour Weekend and late March. Westshore beach is the most popular beach in Napier and is used regularly by residents and visitors to Napier City.

Well done to the group of clubbies who are sprucing up the interior of the clubhouse.
Helpers will be required for the outside at a later date when the weather warms up a tad.

The 2009 New Zealand Surf Life Saving Championships will now be held at Midway Beach, Gisborne on 12th-15th March 2009.
Also as a result of the Nationals change, the 2009 U14 Ocean Athletes will now be held on 27th Feb-1st March 2009, Main Beach Mount Maunganui.
